To enhance our EcoSangha efforts, the temple has subscribed to the Ridwell system. Ridwell is a recycling effort that takes plastic film, multi-layer plastic (s/a potato chip bags), styrofoam (meat trays), batteries, “threads” (clothes that may have holes/stains that you can’t donate to other groups), plastic bottle caps, plastic bread tags, corks, lightbulbs and Amazon packaging to name a few.

Although it’s for the temple, you can bring items in from home. There’s a bucket in the kitchen in which you can place your items. The pick-up is every two weeks. We’ll sort it for you if you’re not sure what category it fits in. All items should be clean. If you have any questions, you can ask Yumi, Vickie Hashimoto or Jacqui Panzella. Thank you!!
