Good morning! Today is the August Shotsuki Service, our monthly memorial service. This is also a Family Service, so we welcome both those who observe their Shotsuki Month and everyone who appreciates joining our Family Services. Today is also our Atomic Bomb Memorial, when we acknowledge the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki during WWII. It continues to be valuable to reflect upon the difficult and tragic impact this event has had upon countless lives. We will again hang Origami Tsuru (Cranes) on our Pacific Avenue gates following the service. Thank you for joining us!
